The Library does not purchase print or electronic copies of textbooks or required course materials.

Occasionally, instructors place required course materials on Course Reserve at the Library front desk.  Ask your instructor if they've placed materials on reserve for your course, or contact the Library to inquire about what's currently on Course Reserve.  Instructors may also designate material the Library already owns in physical or electronic format as required course texts, and students may use these items in accordance with our Circulation Policy.

The Library cannot fill interlibrary loan (ILL) requests for materials listed as required course texts in current or upcoming semesters.

To order textbooks and course materials, log into your MyHive account to view a personalized page of your courses with links to obtain all materials, or check your courses on The Hornet Shop webpage.

If you have additional questions about textbooks and other course materials, email The Hornet Shop or call (434) 544-8239.
