Just bring your University ID to the Circulation Desk!

Knight-Capron Library offers 16 study carrels that can be reserved for an entire semester by University of Lynchburg students, faculty, and staff. These carrels are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each carrel features a locking overhead storage cabinet and a locking three-drawer file cabinet.

Reserving a Study Carrel:

  • Bring your University ID to the circulation desk located on the first floor of the Knight-Capron Library.
  • Read and sign the Knight-Capron Library Study Carrel Agreement.
  • You will check out a key that will provide you access to your carrel's locking cabinets.
  • Your carrel is reserved for your exclusive use until the end of the current academic term (Fall, Spring, or Summer).
