If OneSearch indicates an item is "On Loan," it's currently checked out to someone else.  You can place a hold on the item so that once it's returned, we'll check it out to you.

  • Use OneSearch to locate the item you’d like to check out.
  • Under "Available In Print," click "Sign In" next to "Please sign in to check if there are any request options."

  • Sign in with your University credentials so the system knows who you are.
  • Click the "Request" link under "Available in Print."

  • Click "Send Request."

  • You will see confirmation message that your hold was successfully placed.
  • When you receive an “On Hold Shelf” email from the Library, your item is available for pickup at the Circulation Desk.
