Wait 30 minutes. While you're waiting, close your browser windows to that book. You may want to empty your cache to delete the browsing history to that book.
If you were viewing an e-book, left the book, tried to go back to it and could not get back to the section you needed for your research, your session may still be active.
If that is the case, the e-books from the Library will show the "being used" message for up to 30 minutes after the last time there was activity on the book. So waiting for at least 30 minutes and then going back should allow your old session to expire. It is also possible that someone else was using that book when you tried to go back to it. Knight-Capron Library usually purchases one user per title licensing. Again, try waiting for a while and then try again.
